Accessibility statement

We aim for WCAG 2.2 level AA across the storefront, checkout handoff, and account area, and we say plainly where we are not there yet.

Before public launch

The legal business name, jurisdiction, and contact address are being confirmed and will be added here before any payment is accepted. Until then this page is a draft of the terms we intend to operate under.

What we have done

  • Semantic structure with one main landmark per page, a skip link, and headings in order.
  • Every control works with a keyboard, in a sensible order, with a visible focus ring on every surface.
  • Text and controls meet the WCAG contrast minimums. The pairs are measured by a script rather than eyeballed, and we run it before each release.
  • Forms have persistent labels, hints tied to their fields, error messages that name the problem, and no time limits.
  • Images either describe themselves or are marked decorative. The control panel views on the site are labelled as prototypes.
  • Motion is limited to small state changes and is switched off when your system asks for reduced motion.
  • The layout reflows to a single column at 320 CSS pixels and works at 400% zoom without horizontal scrolling.
  • Touch targets are at least 44 pixels tall on the buying path.

Known limitations

  • The control panel is open-source software we customize. Its console, file manager, and editor are complex applications; we test the main tasks with a keyboard and a screen reader, but some third-party components have gaps we cannot fix ourselves. We report those upstream.
  • Payment pages are hosted by Stripe and follow Stripe's accessibility work, not ours.
  • Guides include code samples in monospace blocks; screen readers read them character by character where needed.

If something on this site or in the panel is hard to use, tell us through the support page. Describe what you were trying to do and what assistive technology you use. We reply within a few days and fix what we can; where we cannot, we offer another way to get the same thing done.
